第二天，幸運女神臨走前對馬斯克托說：「你的心腸這么好，我要好好的報答你。我可以滿足你的三個願望。」馬斯克托說：「我只希望我們一家幸福、健康、能有一所好房子住。」他說完後，幸運女神馬上實現了馬斯克托的願望。
富人克羅斯比亞知道了這件事，非常後悔，他馬上去追幸運女神，想讓她也滿足自己的願望，但是幸運女神對他說：「你是那樣的自私和無理，根本不可能得到我的祝福。」說完幸運女神就很快地就回到天上去了。
