現行大學英語四級考試分為4個部分：

1、寫作：

作文分數占總分的%，也就是106.5分。

2、閱讀理解：

快速閱讀占總分的10%，即71分，每個7.1分，達到42.6分為及格分。題號為1-10題。

一、新題型說明

1、單詞及片語聽寫

原復合式聽寫調整為單詞及片語聽寫，短文長度及難度不變。要求考生在聽懂短文的基礎上，用所聽到的原文填寫空缺的單詞或片語，共10題。短文播放三遍。

2、長篇閱讀

原快速閱讀理解調整為長篇閱讀理解，篇章長度和難度不變。篇章後附有10個句子，每句一題。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出與每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能對應兩題，有的段落可能不對應任何一題。

3、翻譯

原單句漢譯英調整為段落漢譯英。翻譯內容涉及中國的歷史、文化、經濟、社會發展等。四級長度為140-160個漢字；六級長度為180-200個漢字。

二、評分標准

大學英語四、六級考試的原始分數在經過加權、等值處理後，參照常模轉換為均值為500、標准差為70的常模正態分數。同時，四、六級考試不設及格線，考試合格證書改為成績報告單。四、六級考試單項分的報道分為四個部分，這四個部分以及各部分所佔的分值比例分別為：

英語四級各檔的分數分布是：聽力（35%）249分、閱讀（35%）249分、綜合（10%）70分、寫作和翻譯（20%）142分。

需要的材料：
工具書：英漢詞典（推薦朗文）
試卷：只需要歷年真題就行（帶聽力Mp3）
語法書：推薦《大學英語語法講座與練習》或者張滿勝的《英語語法新思維》
報紙或者雜志：推薦China daily（一周買1~2份就可以）
（不需要買專門的單詞書背，無意義）步驟：
1.在早上固定時間進行聽力練習（歷年真題的聽力部分就行，不需要其他的），嚴格按照四級考試的時間。（每天都聽，一天一次）----睡覺前不看題目再聽一遍，要求：能復述每句話並把意思准確翻譯出來。
2.通讀一遍語法書（大致看下），把所有的語法項目列個提綱
3.將歷年真題所有生疏的（包括即使看著認識但翻譯不上來的）單詞，所有的連接詞，所有寫作能用到的詞或短語、句子，總結下
4.最重要的一步：將歷年真題所有的句子拿出來分析，分析句子結構，語法現象，如果分析不上來的參照上面總結的語法提綱查找語法書，還是不會請教同學或老師。（這一步是做閱讀的關鍵，現在好多人讀不懂文章不是因為單詞量不夠而是即使把認識的單詞拼在一起也翻譯不上來，這就是因為不會分析句子）
5.每周末買一份China daily，（如果時間充足可以多買一份），全部略讀，了解大意就行，旨在擴充知識面。
6.背誦歷年真題作文範文（不需要買專門的作文書，把這些背會，作文不會拉分）
