自從烏鴉被狐狸騙走了到嘴的一塊肉，烏鴉一直很後悔。有一天，烏鴉又得到一塊肉。當它在一棵大樹上歇腳的時候，碰巧又被出來尋找食物的狐狸看見了……

續寫：

當時狐狸的肚子餓得不得了，恰巧又看見了那隻烏鴉，而且它的嘴裡又叼著一塊肉，狐狸很想得到那塊肉，便故技重施，又說：「美麗的烏鴉小姐，你的歌實在是太好聽了，你現在能唱一首給我聽嗎？」烏鴉沒有理它。狡猾的狐狸見不管用，眼珠一轉，立馬有了主意。

「你個臭鳥，別以為自己了不起，你是全森林裡最丑的鳥！瞧你那黑黑的羽毛，一看就知道是個掃把星。」

原來狐狸是想把烏鴉激怒，那樣烏鴉就會說話，它照樣能把肉吐出來。可這次狐狸卻失算了，烏鴉不僅沒有把肉吐出來罵它，而是把肉放在樹上，大聲說道：「死狐狸，你不是想吃到肉嗎？有本事你就上來呀，拿到肉就歸你了！」
