這是找到的一些方法:
盡管我們覺得PETS2的聽力部分並不是太難,但對些英語基礎比較差、學習時間不長的同學來說可能就不是那麼容易了。為提高考生的聽力能力,在考前系統訓練聽力是必不可少的。
聽力練習是項系統工程。平時只有靠多聽,採取量中求質的辦法,才能慢慢大幅提高自己的聽力聽力。我從一個英語老師的角度來給考生們談談如何提高PETS聽力水平的,大家可以進行參考達到觸類旁通的效果。提高和改善自己的英語聽力能力應從以下幾方面入手。
1、讀准語音
正確的語音是聽音辨音的學准讀准,才能進行聽音辨音。因此,我要求學生每天早晨堅持半小時的聽錄音跟讀練習,跟讀過程中,只求讀准語音。隨堂設計5分鍾的辨音練習,形式可多樣化。比如:一生朗讀,其餘聽辨有無錯音。自製錄音材料,讓學生辨析相近音。通過對學生聽覺的反復刺激,使學生的聽覺對規范語音形成一種定勢,從而提高了學生的辨音能力。
2、多聽
多聽是強化學生聽力的重要手段。但多聽不等於亂聽,聽力訓練要有目的,有要求,有檢查,有實效。所謂多聽,包括教師在課堂上多用英語進行教學,給學生創造聽的機會和環境。充分利用錄音機和錄音磁帶,讓學生經常聽英美人的地道的英語,掌握比較標準的英語語音。讓學生有意識地注意同班同學的發音,以提高辨音能力。鼓勵或組織學生課下收聽適度的英語廣播,收看英語電視教學節目,以增加學生接觸英語的機會。
另外,可針對學生在聽力方面所表現出來的一些困難或障礙,有意識地選擇聽力材料,有目的地進行專門訓練。比如:為使學生快速牢固地掌握記憶教材中的重點單詞、片語或句子,可採用反復聽寫的辦法,老師用英語讀,學生寫。這樣,不但訓練了學生的聽力,還可使學生直觀地接受詞彙。為提高學生的反應速度,教師可對學生進行強化訓練。首先,幫助學生克服連讀音,重弱音的問題。教師先講解總結連讀音的發音規律,重弱音的發音特點和類型,然後設計一些例句,讓學生大量地練習與模仿。如:連讀音:Look at it, please. Put some of it in the box.重弱音:The dogs are | | in the street. |Yes,we are.|等。這樣反復地訓練,由慢到快,才能逐步提高學生的反應速度。
3、善聽
為提高聽力訓練的效 果,充分調動學生的積極性和能動性,應該把聽力訓練變成一種趣味活動。興趣濃,才會有巧法。中國學生學英語最害怕的是背單詞,為什麼?太枯燥。聽力訓練也是一樣,所以,教師應該想辦法讓學生愛聽、想聽。為解了下列辦法。
第一,情景教學。記得本人在給學生講"圖書館"這篇課文時,我用的是"表演法".為生動逼真起見,我預先製做了 一個圖書管理員的服務牌掛在胸前,自己先扮演圖書管理員,然後給學生講,"I'm a librarian."進而用英語給學生介紹學校圖書館的概況,讓學生上前來"借書".學生聽得津津有味,參與得也很積極,表演也很投入,興趣大增。隨後,讓學生互相演練,效果極佳。這樣,不但有效地訓練了學生的聽力,還提高了學生運用知識的能力。
第二,課外興趣小組活動。把學生以班為單位劃分三個學習小組,開展興趣活動。教師可幫助學生設計語言情景,比如:問路,看病人等。學生在興趣活動中,增長了知識,提高了聽力。
第三,講故事。愛聽故事可能是很多的人共性,聽英語故事更是別有情趣,因此,學生特別來勁。每節課,我都挪出5到10分鍾的時間讓學生講英語故事。這樣天天講,天天聽,學生的聽力也隨之不斷提高。在開展這些活動的過程中,我特別提醒學生注意辨音。發現錯音,記錄下來,隨後馬上總結糾正。這樣,錯音不斷減少,聽力卻不斷提高。
