這只是方法不同吧，兩種都可以啊，看你擅長了，一般是一條線寫一段比較回容易用上技巧答類的東西，按時間點寫個人感覺會比較單調，除了數據之間的比較多一點，擔心會有句式重復。
個人推薦一條線寫一段，舉個例子。

"說不準抄的，而且這樣去劃分對於考試來講並沒有多大的幫助。
盡管我們習慣地A類小作文分成五大類型，包括線狀圖（line chart），柱狀圖（bar chart）,餅狀圖（pie chart），表格圖（table of figures），流程/示意圖（flow chart/diagram）。
但是在實際操作的時候，我們按照不同的寫作方法，更科學地把這五大類圖形分成三大種，趨勢圖（一般指的是展示描述對象隨著時間或者年齡的變化而變化的圖形）， 非趨勢圖（通常是著重數據的列舉和比較），非常規圖（指的就是流程/示意圖，按照以往的經驗，這種類型考得比較少。但是值得指出的是，在今年2010年5月－7月，這種類型居然考了已經5次了）。也就是說，有些圖形，例如，柱狀圖，既可能是趨勢圖，也可能是非趨勢圖，所以說，把小作文分成五大類其實在寫作方法的角度來說是不合理的。
所以我建議樓主不要糾結哪種圖形考得比較多哪種考得比較少了，哈哈，按照以上給的方法來准備會發現更有效哦。

其實折線圖是小作文中比較簡單的題型，一般可以從2方面入手，一：起始點加內變化趨勢，容碰上三條線時，我們不是單純地逐一描述三個點的具體數值，而是要注意觀察其中某2個起點之間是否存在倍數關系；遇到兩條線時，主體段可以將這2條線單獨各自寫，以交叉點作為思路的突破口。二：臨界值，所謂臨界值就是在變化趨勢較多的折線中從橫向或者縱向劃一條線，然後分別描寫上下的數據。
