C和D是明顯不正確的。 這里只是一個笑話，笑話的內容是說醫生如何對新人不禮貌，但是問題是imply，所以應該想得更深入點，笑話裡面對新人的不禮貌說明了什麼？最後一句：On, that's God, came the reply, but sometimes he thinks he's a doctor。很好地說明了護士門看不慣醫生們的自以為是。所以選B

4D，全文的中心詞，也是主旨句的核心成分，全段都是針對這句話進行的解釋說明。

2B。原文：「The spanish introced it to the rest of the world ring the 1500's。。。In London,shops where chocolate drinks were served bacame important meeting places.」其中「ring the 1500's」對應「Centuries ago」，「often gathered in shops 」對應「important meeting places」。非常對應。原文中說是South American Indians最初做的chocolate drinks而不是A說的spanish，所以A錯。C和D兩項，原文中都沒有提到，所以無法成為答案。
3A。原文：「The potato is also from the New World. Around 1600,the Spanish brought it from Peru to Europe。。。」先說potato是new world來的，然後說spanish從peru帶回了potato，所以說明peru是new world。
4C。完全是單詞的本來意思，直接得出答案。如果不認識的話，文中也說「people died from hunger 」，也就是食物短缺的意思。

所以第二段描寫的都是他對美國的憧憬和希望。。。最後兩句的意思是。。我滿腦子都在想著這個陌生而神奇的地方。。。我的腦子反而在那是並沒有怎麼想到這個我永遠無法再返回的祖國了。。。
