The noise that affects（影響） sea creatures comes from a number of human activities. It is caused mainly by instrial underwater explosions（爆炸）, ocean drilling, and ship engines. B. This park protects a large deposit（存放） of fossil（化石） dinosaur bones--remains of the so-called "terrible lizards" that lived millions of years ago. The dinosaurs weren't really lizards, and most of them weren't even terrible. But some of the first dinosaur fossils ever found were huge bones and teeth, very lizard-like except for their size, and so the idea of monstrous lizards was born. Today, many ideas about dinosaurs are changing, and the fossils at this park continue to help us learn more about these fascinating animals.

新的英語課程標准對英語教學提出了新的要求，突出了英語本身所具有的人文意義。英語教師除了要認真解讀、領悟新課程體系中蘊涵的思想，樹立正確的教育觀念，還應根據新課程的要求改變教學行為，幫助學生建構知識，以適應當前課程改革的要求。
這一點變化尤其體現在語篇閱讀教學上。筆者認為，一堂閱讀課教學，如同一首交響曲的演奏，扣人心弘的交響曲的前奏能引導觀眾步入意境，課堂成功的「導語」即「開場白」，能激發並加深學生聽課的興趣和求知慾望。所以說，要收到較為理想的教學效果，導入的設計和運用是非常重要的。導入恰當與否，直接關繫到教學效果的好差。
導入的方式多種多樣、各有千秋，在平時的英語閱讀教學課堂基本採用以下辦法來激發學生的閱讀興趣。
1. 從趣味性表現入手，引導學生閱讀課文
趣味性表現法即教師根據教學內容巧妙設計一些具有較強趣味性的可操作性的活動，然後再講解學生要學習的具體內容。以新目標英語九上Unit 1 What do we deal with our problems?為例，處於初中階段的學生對problems這個話題一般都抱有極大的興趣。所以，為激發學生的興趣，教師設計了富有戲劇性的導入手段：小品表演。一群學生模似了生活場景：他們相約周六去聽周傑倫的演唱會。誰知周五各科老師布置了很多作業，回到家後，爸媽又增加了新的任務。他們萬般無奈，同時又十分沮喪。這一做法收到了預期的效果，學生們迅速進入上課狀態，並產生了共鳴。除了拚命做作業之外，還能怎麼樣呢？懸念產生了。這時，由一位學生扮演的Luck Fairy 出現了，她作了自我介紹，屏幕上適時出現了有Luck Fairy 文字的圖片。每個學生都問她：Luck Fairy? Can you help me? 她回答說：You are a good boy / girl. I』d like to give you a wish. 於是，小品的氣氛轉為活躍。孩子們的願望各種各樣：I wish no homework at all. / Jay Chou will come to see me . / I can have a robot to do many things for me …然後，Luck Fairy 又走到講台下的學生中，詢問他們生活學習上的煩惱。這次的導入打破了教學常規，以學生表演的形式第一時間抓住了學生的眼球，並因為生活氣息濃郁而獲得了全體學生的心理認可。Luck Fairy 這一導入自然、適時，在特定的環境中很快被全體學生掌握。在這樣的情境下，教師提出新的問題：What do we deal with them when we have problems?順勢引入學生要學習的課文內容。
2. 從文章的標題入手，引導學生探究課文
以新目標英語九上 Unit 2 He used to cause a lot of trouble為例，先讓學生分析文章的標題，Who is he? What does he do? How old is Martin now? What made him change a lot? Did he use to give his mother many problems? Why did his mother have to work? What did his mother tell him on the phone? What changed Martin』s mind?
分析文章的標題，能夠使學生簡要快捷地弄清文章的中心主旨、寫作意圖或學習重點，從而深入具體地展開閱讀理解，讓學生真正地步入到學習佳境中。
如教讀新目標英語九年級 Unit 6 I only eat food that tastes good一文時，我做過這么一個試驗：在所執教的兩個平行班中，採用不同的教法。甲班採取慣用的講授法。課堂上，從單詞的拼寫、含義到用法，從片語到句型，從句型又到語法、句法，一一進行詳細的講解。一節課下來，老師口乾舌燥，非常疲勞；學生們也是緊追急趕，氣喘吁吁。整整一節課的內容在學生的腦海里留下的印象卻很少，對於那些乏味枯燥的語法條框，學生更是如墜雲霧之中。乙班則是給學生提前布置任務，讓學生充分利用身邊的資源去收集有關Food and Drink方面的資料。學生們非常積極，去圖書館查資料，上網搜索相關信息，向有關人士打聽、求教……課堂上，學生們踴躍發言，不僅用英語把課本上的內容表述出來，還補充了不少知識，甚至還有不少同學談到了東、西方不同的飲食文化，肯德基、麥當勞為什麼會風行中國等。接著我不失時機地要求學生細讀課文，就如何健康飲食這一焦點問題進行辯論。經過一個時期的「擱置」，再以「突然襲擊」的方式用同一份試題對兩班學生測試，試題以課後習題為主。結果表明：甲班優秀答卷僅佔全班的38%，而乙班的優秀率達70%。究其原因：教者在乙班從課文的焦點問題切入，相機誘導，以學生自主、合作、探究型學習所獲取的知識在學生潛意識中已深深地紮下了根，並逐漸轉化為自己的能力，即使擱置了較長一段時間，學生仍能得心應手地去解答相關問題。而在甲班，學生僅僅依賴於老師講解的知識，即使當時心領神會，但未必能長期保存於大腦，更談不上轉化為學生的真正能力。同一個內容，同一位教師，兩個班竟出現了不同結果。為什麼呢？僅僅是由於教師的教法不同嗎？追根求源，學生的學習方式起了決定性的作用。學習方式的轉變，使後一個班的學生化被動為主動，激起了學生的積極性，也達到了更好的效果。
4. 從質疑入手導讀課文
「學起於思，思源於疑。」疑，能激發學生的求知慾；疑，能促進學生積極動腦思考、探索，從而提出問題或新的見解。學生在學習過程中肯定會遇到問題，教師要鼓勵學生敢疑、善疑，使之養成敢於質疑的習慣。
如講授新目標英語八下 Unit 9 Have you ever been to Singapore? 一文時，我根據教學內容設計選擇了如下教具：一張新加坡國家地圖，一段相關的影音設備。在教學一開始，我做了如下的導入：Today we』ll get to know a country, that is named … 然後播放了一小段Singapore的人文景觀，學生立刻被吸引住了，此時提出第一個問題：Who can say something about Singapore? Or do you have questions about Singapore? 部分學生率先簡單地對新加坡做一些描述，而大多數提出了許多的疑問。於是我發出指示：If you want to know more about Singapore, please read the passage carefully. 學生就迫不及待地拿起課文，一氣呵成讀完。然後踴躍發言，爭先恐後地給出各種各樣的回答。一節課下來，老師輕松，學生心情舒暢，不僅在輕松愉悅的氛圍中學到了很多東西，而且所學的知識在頭腦中留下了很深的印象。
總之，初中英語閱讀教學課堂導讀方法多種多樣，導入切忌古板、單調。乾巴巴的導入不能引起學生充分的注意，他們的學習積極性調動不起來，課堂氣氛就沉悶、乏味。教師應根據課文的具體內容靈活選擇、恰當運用，設置一些科學、合理、藝術的問題，採用自主、合作、探究的學習方式，喚醒學生探求的潛能，激活封存的記憶，開啟幽閉的心智，營造適合學生學習的氛圍，牢牢把握以學生發展為本這根主線，調動學生的主動性、求知慾，教給學生閱讀的技能，讓課堂煥發出蓬勃、旺盛的生命活力，激發學生英語閱讀興趣，從而收到較好的效果。

⑧ 如何上好一節英語閱讀課

初中英語教學逐漸由重知識教育轉化為重運用教育，越來越注重培養學生的閱讀理解能力，強調能懂會說的學習效果。如何培養學生的閱讀理解能力，提高他們分析問題、解決問題的能力，是中學英語教師不斷探索的課題。閱讀課就是訓練學生閱讀理解能力的主要途徑，也是學生學習新知識和鞏固舊知識的主要載體，同時閱讀能力也是考試的重中之重。我們必須高度重視閱讀課，充分開發閱讀課的潛力，有效地利用閱讀課的資源，通過各種方法來提高學生的閱讀能力。
閱讀課的重要性每位老師基本上都已認識到，但在實際的教學當中我們應該如何恰當地利用各種不同的方式，提高學生的閱讀理解能力和英語其他方面的能力，有些教師似乎還有些模糊，或者說在理論上沒有明確地認識。不少教師對如何上好閱讀課感到很茫然，不知道在閱讀課上應當講些什麼。要麼僅僅是把文章翻譯過來，成了翻譯課，使學生感到很枯燥，要麼把重點單純地放在單詞、句子意思和語法等基礎知識上，成r講解課。而對於其他方面，學生學習英語的興趣，學生用英語思考的能力，學生語感的培養等等，似乎並沒有認真細致地考慮。那麼，如何才能上好初中英語閱讀課呢?筆者從教英語二十多年，現在以九年級上冊第二單元的一篇閱讀文章為例<he used to o．a＆use a lot of trouble為例，談談自己的一點看法。
根據現代教學理論，一般的閱讀文章講解分課閱讀前，閱讀中。閱讀後三個過程。閱讀前是閱讀課的第一步，也是閱讀的導入階段。
i rereading
一、巧妙導入．激發興趣
常言道：好的開端是成功的一半。因此，新課的導入是課堂教學的一個關鍵點，是激發學生興趣，調動學生積極性的一個妙招。一個好的導入，會使學生懷著期待的心情，盼望新課的開始。例如九年級上冊第二單元he used to cause a lot．of trouble以播放閻維文的<母親這首歌開始，學生在聽音樂的同時，老師走下講台問：when is mother’s day?have y．ou remembered how your parents helped you in your daily life?藉助一首歌曲和兩個問題把學生的興趣調動了起來，這時老師趁熱打鐵說：生活中你們的父母給予你們愛，給予你們關心，但是你們想了解一下另外一位偉大的母親嗎?便導入新課。這樣的導入意圖不僅激發了學生的學習興趣，而且又營造了一種寬松愉悅的課堂氛圍。

二、巧設問題。點燃求知慾
通過導入這個步驟，使學生的上課狀態已達到了無比興奮的程度，這時老師抓住學生的興奮點，馬上出示設計好的問題，讓學生帶著問題進入閱讀第一環節：速讀。

學生帶著問題，懷著一顆求知的心情進入閱讀狀態。幾分鍾之後學生便很快的找到了問題的答案，通過對五個問題的回答之後，學生基本上把握了文章的脈絡，這時老師把問題的答案寫在黑板上，自然過渡到教學過程的下一環節：復述課文，這時，挑選學生根據答案簡單介紹文章大意，目的是為了讓學生對課文有初步的了解，這樣的設置達到了事半功倍之效。
三、課堂結構合理。惜時增效
一節課四十分鍾的時間，不可能從頭到尾都讓學生處於高度興奮狀態，這樣容易使學生疲勞，降低課堂效率。但是課堂結構布置合理，這一現象便不存在。
首先由新課的導入到課文的問答練習，環環相扣，順理成章。這時便步入閱讀的第二環節精讀。精讀課文是閱讀課的一個中心任務，因此老師要大膽放手，把時間還給學生，讓學生靜下心來去細讀，默讀這篇文章，老師在一邊給予指導：1．通過閱讀讓學生完成課後習題。2．通過閱讀讓學生總結本文章的語言知識點。這樣設計的目地是為了培養學生自主學習的能力，同時也培養了學生利用上下文信息詞來猜新單詞和學習新詞彙的能力。

四、抓住時機．滲透德育教育
一般的英語老師都認為德育教育是班主任和政治老師的事，這是一個認識的問題。德育教育人人有責．我們英語老師也不列外。學生通過對這篇文章的整體掌握之後，為了讓學生放鬆心情。我便插入這樣一話題：discussing：why did the author write the pas·sage?讓學生展開討論，於是把感恩這一話題滲透到教學中來，讓學生學會感恩，讓學生珍惜身邊的一切。
五、畫龍點睛．使文章升華
當這一節課結束時，讓學生唱《．世上只有媽媽好)這首歌，學生感動了，最後英語老師意味深長地說：my dear children，mother isgreat，mother’s love is the most unselfish!love your mother!一節歡快愉悅的閱讀課結束了。
總之，上好一節閱讀課不容易，我們應本著以學生為主體，老師為主導的原則，引導學生參與、體驗英語閱讀的快樂，激發學生閱讀的興趣，這樣既培養了學生良好的學習習慣，又使學生形成積極的學習態度和有效的學習策略．最終達到培養學生綜合語言運用能力，這也正是新的英語課程標准所提倡的。
