Ⅲ 英语的词缀词根各代表什么
词根(roots)是一个词最根本、最核心且不能加以分析的部分。词干(stems) 是加后缀之前词根的变形。
例如:modify 修改,-modi- 为词干,-mod- 为词根,-fy 为后缀;denial否认,-deni- 为词干、-deny- 为词根、-al为后缀。有时为了方便学习,我们把词干称为词根的变体。
词缀可以分为前缀(多表示意义)和后缀(多表示词性)。 如ab-,abs-加在词根前,表示"相反,变坏,离去"abnormal反常的(ab+normal正常的)。
单词一般由三部分组成:词根、前缀和后缀。词根决定单词意思,前缀改变单词词义,后缀决定单词词性。

Ⅵ 英语常用词根和词缀
1、-vi、-vis表示“看”
view 看法,观点;preview 预览;Interview 面试;international 国际的其组成是,inter(相互)+nation(国家)+al(的),-al 表示形容词后缀,比如 表示视力的,视野的。
Visit 旅游,就是到处走到处看的意思,vis 表示看,it 表示走→exit 出口Vision 视野,视力(-sion,-tion, -nion 一般都是表示名词词性的后缀) Video 视频
2、ex-、 e-表示“向外”“外”
exit 出口
exclude 除外,排除include 包含,包括emit 发射exotic 外来的,异国情调的expose 暴露。
ex 表示“ 前任”。ex-husband 前夫ex-wife 前妻ex-boyfriend 前男友She is my ex. 她是我的前(女友)
3、-pre 、-pro 表示“前,向前”

operate v.操作cooperate v. 合作compare v.对比pare 是pair“一双,一对”的引申而来。
