第二天，幸运女神临走前对马斯克托说：“你的心肠这么好，我要好好的报答你。我可以满足你的三个愿望。”马斯克托说：“我只希望我们一家幸福、健康、能有一所好房子住。”他说完后，幸运女神马上实现了马斯克托的愿望。
富人克罗斯比亚知道了这件事，非常后悔，他马上去追幸运女神，想让她也满足自己的愿望，但是幸运女神对他说：“你是那样的自私和无理，根本不可能得到我的祝福。”说完幸运女神就很快地就回到天上去了。
