『壹』 小学英语四年级英语阅读教案

Lesson 31
一、教学目的（Teaching aims）
1．Just speak
本课主要是继续学习用 It has...这个句型来描述大象的外形，初步学习描述物体的外貌特征。
2.Just read and write
学习形容词：big, small
3.Let's sing
学习歌曲 The opposite song,巩固所学内容。
二、重点（Key points）
1．能熟练运用已学的句型
2．掌握三会单词、四会单词
三、难点（Difficult points）
使学生理解掌握所学句型并做简单问答。
四、教具（Teaching aids）
1.准备一些可拆分的动物图片（类似于拼图），如：pig,dog,bear,cat...用以复习和操练。
2.准备一些学过的单词且大小相差较大的图片或物品。
3.不同动物叫声的录音。
4.学生带自己喜欢的动物玩具。
五、教学过程（Teaching proceres）
Step1 Revision
(1)课前播放歌曲 Fruit song ,使学生感受英语学习的氛围。
(2)根据录音里的声音猜出是那种动物，复习有关动物的词汇。
(3)根据老师的指令做出动作，如：Touch your ears. Touch your eyes.等，复习器官名称。（2）、（3）两项内容可以大大激发学生学习兴趣，并为授新课打下基础。
Step2 Presentation
(1)学习big和small。教师拿出大小形成对比的实物（或用简笔画画出），说：This T-shirt is big. That one is small. 做游戏练习big与small。教师发出指令：Touch the big cake.学生分组进行比赛。学生也可发指令。
(2)教师出示大象的玩具或图片，然后指着大象对学生说：Look at the elephant. Wow, it's so big.并借助动作帮助学生理解句意。让学生根据黑板上的其他的动物图片进行练习，如：:Look at the pig. Wow! It's so big.使学生逐渐从模仿过渡到运用。教师继续指着大象图片说：Look, it has big ears. And small eyes.借助手势帮助学生理解句意。请同学边做边重复老师的句子。
(3)请一些学生依据黑板上的图片为线索表演本课对话。
(4)学生自由选择黑板上的动物进行表达练习。
Step 3 Practice
分组练习
(1)教师鼓励学生学习 The opposite song ，使他们在快乐的歌曲表演中再次熟悉big,small这两个词。
(2)要求学生观察所出示图片的特征，迅速说出如：Look,the elephant has big ears. And small eyes.的句子，说对的小组可以得到奖励。在练习的后半部分可以出示小猫的图片，让他们试着说出Look, it has big eyes. And small ears. Look, it has small ears. And big eyes. 或是人物的图片，练习描述人物：She has big eyes. Peter has a small nose.等句子，使学生们学会根据实际情况进行描述。
(3)让学生根据动物的特征找出相应的器官图片，一边说，一边把不完整的动物图片补充完整。此项练习既可以练习学生说的能力，也可以培养学生的观察力。
(4)学生通过传小球方式练习 I like...,it has...学生手拿自己喜欢的动物玩具，音乐响起开始传小球，音乐停止时，拿小球的学生站起来介绍：I like my cat,it has big eyes.

完成活动手册的内容。
对本节课比赛进行总结，引导学生进行自我评价和小组评价。
Step 5 Additional activities
(1)课下比一比谁能用big,small组词、造句最多。鼓励学生充分调动所学过的知识，并扩展这两个形容词的练习范围。
(2)搜集长着长耳朵或短耳朵，长尾巴或短尾巴的动物，相关的名称可以是学过的，也可以是没学过的。此项活动既是对下节课知识的预习，帮助他们回忆所学过的有关动物的词汇，也可以激发他们学习的积极性。

A professor was giving a big test one day to his students. He handed out all of the tests and went back to his desk to wait.
Once the test was over the students all handed the tests back in. The professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test with a note saying "A dollar per point."
The next class the professor handed the tests back out. This student got back his test and $64 change.

拔苗助长Help the Young Shoots Grow
Long, long ago, a farmer thought the shoots in his fields were not growing fast enough. He wanted to help them. So he pulled every shoot up, then went home, feeling very tired but very satisfied. "Look, how great I an! I can think out such a good idea. From now on, my shoots will grow faster and faster," he thought. "I an very tired today," he said to his family, "I've been helping the young shoots to grow." When his son heard this, he ran out to the fields to have a look. To his surprise, he found all the shoots weredead. 很久很久以前，一个农夫感觉他田里的幼苗长得不是很快，他想帮助它们。于是他就向上拔它们，然后回了家，虽然感觉很累但是却很满意。他默默地想：“瞧我多么的伟大，我能想出如此好的办法。从现在起，我的幼苗将会生长得越来越快。”于是他对家人说：“我今天累坏了，我在帮助幼苗生长。”当他的儿子听到这话，便匆忙跑到地里去看。让他吃惊的是，他发现所有的幼苗都死了。

龟兔赛跑
The Rabbit And The Turtle
One day the Hare laughed at the short feet and slow speed of the Tortoise. The Tortoise replied:
"You may be as fast as the wind, but I will beat you in a race!"
The Hare thought this idea was impossible and he agreed to the proposal. It was agreed that the Fox should choose the course and decide the end.
The day for the race came, and the Tortoise and Hare started together.
The Tortoise never stopped for a moment, walking slowly but steadily, right to the end of the course. The Hare ran fast and stopped to lie down for a rest. But he fell fast asleep. Eventually, he woke up and ran as fast as he could. But when he reached the end, he saw the Tortoise there already, sleeping comfortably after her effort.一天，兔子嘲笑乌龟爬得慢，乌龟说：“即使你跑得像风一样快，我也要和你比一场赛跑！”兔子心里想，乌龟是不可能跑赢它的。于是兔子同意了这场仿佛看到比赛结果的比赛。当比赛开始时，乌龟和兔子同时起跑。在这段赛道上乌龟一直不停歇地向前爬，虽然爬得很慢，但是步子却很坚定地迈向终点。兔子跑得很快，它中途还躺下来睡了一觉。当兔子睡醒时，它用最快的速度跑向终点。但是当它接近终点时，它却看到乌龟已经在终点处沉沉的睡着了。

守株待兔
In the Spring and Autumn Period, a farmer in the State of Song was one day working in the fields when he saw a rabbit bump into a tree stump(树桩) accidentally and break its neck. The farmer took the rabbit home, and cooked himself a delicious meal. That night he thought, 'I needn't work so hard. All I have to do is wait for a rabbit each day by the stump.' So from then on he gave up farming, and simply sat by the stump waiting for rabbits to come and run into it.
This idiom satirizes(讽刺，挖苦) those who just wait for a stroke of luck, rather than making efforts to obtain what they need.

One day, the tiger and the fox are talking. The fox says, ‘Do you believe that all the animals in the forest are scared of me not you?’ The tiger doesn’t believe and follows the fox to the forest. All the animals are very frightened when they see the tiger and ran away. The tiger is shocked and thinks that the animals are scared of the fox. The fox is very complacent because in fact it depends on the terror of the tiger to frighten the animals.

Not surprisingly, Aladdin and his mother began to have a better life because of the magic ring and the lamp. He also married the Emperor's daughter with the help of the genie. Although the wicked wizard tried to trick them and take back the lamp, Aladdin and his smart Princess defeated the wizard and they lived happily ever after.
